Tour 2 : Bassam - Assinie

Discovery of Grand Bassam and Assinie, those two seasides with some cultural attractions.The historic city of Bassam was the first capital of Côte d'Ivoire, so you can find theold houses, and the first trading houses built there.You will visit the museum of traditional costumes, crafts and the souvenir market before taking the road to Assinie located 63 km away. Along this way you can observe the Royal Court of Mossou and some huge plantations of rubber trees, pineapples, coconut and palms. After about 1 hour on the road you can join Assinie called ‘’ Ivorian paradise’’ with its sandy beach and its lagoon which separates the sea and the town of Assinie Mafia. Lunch on the beach.Visit the largest crocodile farm in the country, "Crocodile Dipi" but also the unmissablecrossing of the lagoon by canoe to admire the mouth "meeting between the sea and the lagoon". Possibility to swim there before returning to Abidjan.
